It's hard to believe summer is coming to an end as all the kiddos in our neighborhood started school today. And... Our Reese will be off to his 2nd year of preschool Sep 7th. It's been a busy summer with a couple of trips here and there... as we just returned from Vail, CO last week. I will hope to add more on that trip very soon! Great times were had by all! : ) With a busy summer, I wanted to capture some of our memories and milestones now, before I blink and it's Christmas already... My old neighbor told me when I had Reese, cherish every moment because "the days are long but the years are short"... I completely get it now.

Spending a fun afternoon at the zoo with Sawyer, Sophie and Lainey Sheffield

Drew's big milestone - should deserve a post on it's own - learning to use big boy pants and potty! Go Drew

Our ever-so-wonderful friends up in Minnesota! Stella and Lucy Byrnes. Spending a fun, but hectic afternoon at Mall of America

Drew's wide but effective golf stance!

So focused

Our attempt at a "first" baseball game. The Stormchasers... Unfortunately, it was rained out. So we just ate lots of food while we were there... : )

Our proud soldiers. I happened to look out and see them all saluting towards the house and just had to get a picture. They were playing Navy captain... or something. Boys...

So many fun days at the FC pool

Reese and his water guns...

Uncle Todd (and Drew's Godparent) dropped in to see us this summer while passing through. It was so good to see him and Katherine. The boys couldn't get enough, lots of showing off and rough-housing.
