Lite Eater

When you have two boys, it's hard not to compare them constantly. One thing that is very different is their appetites. Reese, as most everyone knows, was and still is a really good eater. Drew, on the other hand, eats like a little bird. He is built so different too - long and lean, our little "bean pole". I used to be able to plant Reese in the highchair with his meal and I was guaranteed a good 30 minutes to unload dishwasher, clean-up kitchen, etc... Drew barely lasts 10 minutes. He wants out. The other day I noticed he likes to eat what falls on to the footrest. Strange, but true. So I guess we'll start putting his meal on the footrest...

Father and Son day out

Gabe took Reese to a "Golf Expo" at the Qwest Center last Saturday. Both boys (Gabe and Reese) couldn't be more excited... I wasn't there, Drew and I spent the morning at Target (where else?). Gabe said Reese worked on his putting skills and had fun looking at all of the exhibits. Reese is going to start golf lessons this summer at the Field Club. It'll be interesting to see how he likes the sport. He sure seems to love the idea of golf, so we shall see...

Construction day at the museum

We spent last Tuesday morning with our "boy playgroup"... what better place to go than the construction exhibit at the Children's Museum. Heaven for these little boys! Everyone had a great time, including Drew, who explored with some hard hats and hammers. Reese was able to sit on a large Bobcat bulldozer, but his favorite activity was digging in the gravel pit. Peter, a little friend from the playgroup, is in the background. They spent all morning in this gravel pit... I'm sure we'll be back!
