Drew learns to crawl, pony rides, moving...

We've been quite busy around here, so I'll have to squeeze everything together or I'll never get anything posted! First of all, our little Drew is starting to crawl. He really prefer the army crawl and still does that when he's in a hurry, but he really is crawling quite well now. He also started pulling himself up on furniture, he's proving to be the quite the busy boy - and very determined.

Another exciting, bittersweet actually, event happening in our lives, is Tyson leaving for the Marines. He has worked so hard for this and we couldn't be more proud of him, but we will miss him so much. He is such a fantastic uncle, brother, and friend. The picture below was taken yesterday when he came to say good-bye. We wish him the best and are so thankful to have people like him to fight for our country and freedom.

Most of you know by now that we are moving to another home in Omaha. The new hoop is a popular feature at the new house. Whenever we go, that's all Reese wants to do. Thankfully, my mom is in town for 5 days helping us out with the kiddos as we move our stuff. The movers come Tuesday, so that's when we'll officially be in the new house. So, today during our open-house (still trying to sell old house, we've buried two St. Joseph statues - we believe and pray every night for the right buyer!) we went to the fall festival at Christ the King parish, which is located in our new neighborhood. We walked over for the afternoon and Reese experienced his first pony ride. He didn't quite know what to think, he was pretty serious during the ride. He played lots of games, won prizes, had his face painted, all the fun festival stuff! He had a ball with grandma Ellen. My niece and I snuck out to do a little shopping... : )

The last picture is of Drew - I just thought it captured his happy personality.

I hope everyone is enjoying the fall so far... We'll keep you updated on any house news. We are so excited about our new home and what the neighborhood has to offer for schools, church, and friends... We believe it's just meant to be - although feel free to say a little prayer to St. Joseph for us!

First Nebraska game

Reese experienced his first Nebraska football game this weekend. As many of you know, Reese is a fan of all sports, football being one of his favorites. To be completely honest, it was a little exhausting just to park and get to the game, but once we got in it was all worth it to see his face and excitement. We only lasted a quarter in the game, and much of that time was spent sampling all of the local favorite food items - Runza, Vals pizza, Fairbury hot dogs... All so good! After we left the game, we ran around and played outside the stadium on the Cook pavilion practice field. The weather was nice and we had a really fun time - Reese fell asleep before we were out of Lincoln. Drew spent the afternoon and evening with Uncle Dane and Aunt Tammy...
