The zoo... in February!

We've been blessed with some great weather lately, so we decided to take a trip to the zoo over the weekend. Even though the weather was nice, we visited more of the inside exhibits. Reese is very much into fish and sea life, so the aquarium was a big hit with him, especially now that he's older. He loves sharks and "nemo" fish. It was fun to watch his reaction as he watched the big sharks swim above him and around him in the tunnel. He's very much into the movie, "finding nemo" so he was quite impressed with even just the smaller aquariums of tropical fish. We also made a pass through the rain forest to see the monkeys, another favorite.

Today the weather was unbelievably warm - 64 degrees, sunny, and no wind. Such a tease in February... We went for a long and leisurely walk, there's no other option when Fred is with us... But with the weather today, we didn't mind Fred's slow pace. : )

3 more weeks

Today the "baby-to-be" is 37 weeks old... Only a few weeks left and Reese's world will change dramatically. We've been trying to give him a fair warning. He seems to get the idea that a baby is coming, at least when I point to my tummy he knows a baby is "in there". He also says he's having a "brudder" when asked if he's going to have a brother or sister. We're slowly getting things ready and feel like the weeks are passing way to quickly.
