Better late than never posting our Christmas memories... We had a great time celebrating here in Omaha as a family and then with each of our families in Kearney. Reese always has fun with his grandparents and cousins...
I guess one "bump in the road" would be that we forgot Reese's bag of clothes in Omaha. As we're lounging around waiting to go to church with my parents, I decide I better change Reese out of his "old man"
hanes sweats and dirty t-shirt (from fast-food on the way). As we scramble back and forth from the car to the house - we are wondering how we actually forget our son's bag?? So with 15 minutes before church, we make a run for Target. Unfortunately, there was no time to change and he was the only child without a fancy red and black outfit. At least we had pj's for the night. Of course we arrived right as things were starting, so we were ushered right to the front row... Lovely. Another score for the parents - with our wonderful planning, we hadn't thought to feed the poor boy, so he was literally shoving "puffs" into his mouth the entire service. Thank goodness they're basically air with hardly any substance. Something gave me the foresight to buy puffs at Target - a snack he hasn't had since he was probably 8 mos old. Good memories...
